Terms and Conditions

By registering for the Pangea Finals, you agree to all terms and conditions stated below.

  • Parents/guardians will be contacted if their child feels ill during the exam.
  • First Aid will be administered by qualified members of staff if necessary.
  • We will take photographs and videos during the Finals and Awards Ceremony to introduce and promote Pangea Maths Competition through our social media, brochures and website.
  • Students and those responsible for them are liable for any damage they cause to the equipment and the premises.
  • If students bring mobile phones, toys, iPods or similar items to the exam and the teacher/invigilator considers the exam is disrupted or the validity of the exam is at risk by their existence, s/he might confiscate them till the end of the exam.
  • If students are caught cheating or they don’t comply with any rules or the teacher’s/invigilator’s instructions then we might ask the student to leave the theatre and one of our staff call the parent to pick up the student early. In such a case, the student will be disqualified from the competition and cannot attend the ceremony and the parent/student’s teacher/student’s school cannot make any claims against Pangea or its UK representative.
  • The travel safety of the children is parent/guardian’s responsibility.
  • It is the parent/guardian’s responsibility to ensure that the children are dropped off and picked up at the correct time. Any issue which might derive from the late arrival of this responsible person is not in our responsibility.
  • All absences should be reported by phone (020 7607 9330) to us prior to the Finals.

The information which you give when completing this form will be used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and for the following purposes: to enable the organisation to create an electronic and paper record of your application; to enable the application to be processed; to enable the organisation to compile statistics, or to assist other organisations to do so, provided that no statistical information that would identify you as an individual will be published. The information will be kept securely and will be kept no longer than necessary.
